Seems like lots of peeps are using dashes from classic cars in their s10 s the little shop special has one and that baby blue blazer in minitrucks a while back had one i d say if you can build a sheetmetal dash go for it that way you can make it look any way you want.

A dash trim is made up of 3 layers.
I first made a pattern outta 1 2 wood and the just had a piece of sheet metal 30 x 60 and had it bent lenth ways to where it was 15 top and 15 front then took it and screwed the sheet metal to the wooden pattern.
