In the post below a member of the smartthings community named florianz describes how he s transformed a normal android tablet into a sleek wall mounted device to control his smart home. It is also very limited on use. My wife wanted a huge tablet flush mounted with the wall so we ended up going with a samsung galaxy view 18 4 screen which we got on sale for 344.

I m looking to wall mount a tablet have not purchased yet and have direct to router connection charging and have all wires concealed. I have a 10 inch lg tab e and it came with a flap cover type case. This way we could simply mount the apple or android tablet on a wall or leave it as a portable device. Another option is the tcl xess 17 3 screen with built in alexa.

We re loving this thing so i highly recommend doing it if you re on the fence.
