In our 4rth automatic solar light circuit we incorporate a single relay as a switch for charging a battery during day time or as long as the solar panel is generating electricity and for illuminating a connected led while the panel is not active. This is the simple solar solar radio battery charger circuit. Upgrading to a relay changeover. This solar charger has current and voltage regulation and also has over voltage cut off facilities.

The battery can not be removed. Basically automatic solar rechargeable light is a lighting system composed of a led solar panels rechargeable battery transistor diode and resistor. However the led works on electricity from batteries charged through the solar panel. This solar energy is not only used on the earth but also used in space stations where no electrical power is available.

It uses a mini jack socket for charging. The circuit uses a 12 volt solar panel and a variable voltage regulator ic lm 317. Here is the simple circuit to charge 12v 1 3ah rechargeable lead acid battery from the solar panel. The charger has voltage and current regulation and over voltage cut off facilities.

When the solar panel has the higher voltage solar power flows through d1 to power the device and through d3 to recharge the battery pack. As before the solar panel provides power to the device through d1 or the battery provides power through d2 depending on which power source has a higher voltage.
