Well these bugs are called mites more specifically clover mites. They lay their eggs in various places when the weather warms including the cracks in concrete driveways walls and sidewalks.

These are the most common tiny red bugs on concrete. Clover mites will crawl from the ground to invade your home through cracks and tiny openings around windows and doors. Because they look like bugs people just assume they are. Clover mites are tiny red to reddish brown spider mites that leave a red stain when crushed.

They are found on sidewalks siding window sills and sometimes even the asphalt in your driveway. Inside you may find them crawling around window sills on walls or directly on windows. Clover mites are an arachnid which makes them similar to spiders and ticks. Arachnids instead of true insects spider mites typically feed on plants or other insects although the larval stage of the red chigger mite might take a bite of humans occasionally.

Now mind you they are tiny they don t bite they can t hurt a thing.
